About Us

In 2017, an important change in our nation’s legislation entrusted the U.S. Center for SafeSport with the task of responding to and preventing sexual, physical, and emotional abuse in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. Driven by this mandate, we serve as an educational resource for sports organizations at all levels, helping abuse prevention take root in every sport, on every court.

The U.S. Center for SafeSport is more than a nonprofit, more than a place to work. Each of the dedicated, thoughtful professionals who work with us is driven by the belief that we’re providing the knowledge, tools, and support to end all forms of abuse in sport.

Communications & Media Relations

Education, Training, Data, & Research

The driving force behind the Center’s educational content, Education, Training, & Research develops best practices, policies, and programs around prevention education.

Organizational Development & Compliance (ODC)

Promoting athlete safety practices across the country, ODC ensures all Olympic and Paralympic organizations execute consistent and rigorous policies.

Finance & Administration

Finance & Administration keeps everything running smoothly at the Center, from tech support to in-person events.

Human Resources

Responsible for onboarding employees and answering questions about benefits, the Human Resources team provides exceptional day-to-day support.

Response & Resolution

The Response & Resolution team is responsible for receiving, responding to, and resolving allegations of abuse and misconduct in sport. This group includes Intake, Resolutions, Investigations, and Legal teams.

Growth & Partnerships

Showcasing the Center’s marketing efforts through compelling social media, digital content, video, and design, Growth & Partnerships works to expand the Center’s impact, working with an array of partners and financial supporters to further our mission.
