Important Information for Media
The Center issues regular updates to provide transparency regarding individuals within the Olympic and Paralympic Movement who have been added to the Centralized Disciplinary Database (CDD). The CDD includes adults currently subject to certain sanctions and restrictions that impact their participation in sport. The Center also provides updates on the outcomes of cases that go to arbitration. Learn more about the Response & Resolution process.
CDD Updates
Individuals included below have been found in violation of the SafeSport Code and are now listed on the CDD.
Federal law requires the Center to maintain a public database of adults currently restricted from sport participation within the U.S. Movement. The CDD is updated in real time and serves as one important safety tool for athletes, parents, coaches, sport administrators, and sport and non-sport organizations. The Center encourages the use of the CDD as a complement to background checks, criminal records checks, and other screenings. The Center offers the resource, What if I recognize a name in the CDD?, to provide additional support.
The Center receives information, including city, state, and name, from the Participant’s sport National Governing Body (NGB). The information the Center provides is contingent on the records of the NGB. Other than the information contained on the CDD, the Center cannot provide further detail on specific cases and does not comment to protect the identity of claimants and maintain the integrity of the confidential investigative process.
The list below does not include individuals who are under temporary restrictions while their case is being investigated nor does it include individuals whose cases were adjudicated by their sport’s NGB, however that information is publicly available on the complete CDD.
